What Squirrel Found

I have been working my fingers to the bone of late teaching myself how to add text to images. Why? Because I am working on mine and my sister's (Myrlia Purcell) new picture book What Squirrel Found. I finished the illustrations for this book quite a while ago and it has been sitting collecting dust. Sometimes there is just too much going on in life too be able to finish a started project. I had some time the last few weeks and decided to tackle the computer side of this project and for anyone who knows me knows how big of a deal that is. I will be the first to admit computers and I don't really get along. I have no idea why but they just tend to freeze up or crash around me. I don't even have to touch them sometimes for this to happen. After destroying my last computer I got a new one for my birthday. JOY. After having it for a few months and being afraid to touch it I finally decided to give it a go and see if I could finish putting the book together. I am overjoyed to say I have made leaps and bounds in teaching myself how to add text, make text curve, edit images and a lot of other computer type things. I see the light at the end of the tunnel and it shouldn't be too long before we have another book out there. Thanks to all of you who encourage me to create.
